"My husband and I visited with vouchers I’d received as a leaving present. They were for a four course meal for 2 with a premium bottle of wine. We were greeted on arrival by Craig (head chef) and then offered to sit at our table, or to have a drink at the bar. We chose to have a drink at the gin bar and sat in the sunshine with a cocktail and a (non-alcoholic) beer for my husband. We were served our canapés at the gin bar and then Lindsay explained that as part of the deal I could choose to continue with cocktails or have a bottle of wine. I chose the wine and Lindsay asked what my pretences usually were. We then sat inside for our meal and Lindsay brought me 4 small tasters of wine and left me to try them all and pick a favourite. On returning she explained what each wine was and had so much knowledge about them all which was really interesting. We then had 4 ‘taster’ starters, all delicious but my favourite being the duck parfait with warm homemade bread. We chose beef and monkfish curry mains and shared them, both were 10/10. The puddings were also 4 small tasters and I’m not sure we could pick a favourite as all were so good. Throughout the meal all the staff were so attentive, filling up glasses if they seen they were almost empty and checking everything was okay. As we left Lindsay offered to take a photo of us outside which was a such a lovely touch as my husband and I rarely take photos together! All in all I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eat on the Green and absolutely hope to return soon (ideally before it is sold)! Thank you so much to all the staff, you should be proud of the amazing establishment you have."

"I regularly eat at brewdog Ellon and have been twice in the last couple of months. Food and drink standards have been consistent but seem to be waiting longer and longer for food and drink to be delivered to table . 75 mins on first occasion they were busy) and 45 mins on second occasion even waited that long for drinks). The waiters are very pleasant and they didn’t seem rushed off their feet but the bar staff and kitchen staff seems to be working with a massive backlog. Bar staff were constantly dealing with people who were walking up to bar to get drinks and as a consequence those who had given order online/ to waiting staff were pushed back to bottom of queue. I live locally and want to support local business but brewdog need refresh their operating model. Not sure I’ll be back"

"Food was very slow in arriving and I actually had to ask at front desk, how much longer it would take! It was only grilled brunch. My friend 's eggs looked like something from a joke factory. He commented that they also tasted like something from a joke factory!! His Bacon was more fat than meat I chose the vegan option but sourdough bread was hard, cold and would have required a hacksaw to cut it. The whole experience was ruined by the the continuous barking of 2 springer spaniels with their irresponsible owners. In retrospect, we will not e returning any time soon. I appreciate brewdog is a dog friendly establishment but this of mixing pets and food and soft furnishings does not constituent a pleasant nor hygienic dining experience. Won 't be back to this rather overpriced pub grub place, any time in the near future. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1"
