"I do not expect fantastic food at museums but the sandwiches were underwhelming, but the cake and coffee were o.k. The cooked meals 12 to 2.30 are the best bit but the wait means the food gets cold. This has been the same for some years now and needs a serious look at."

"Trying to support local businesses rather than chains my friend and I popped in here rather than Costa next door. So glad we did! We were made to feel really welcome, the coffee was amazing and the staff were constantly cleaning down tables and chairs as people left so it felt very safe. Really recommend it."

"No alcohol served so soft drinks only. I had a blackberry and mint mojito with ginger ale. It was freshly made and was gorgeous. The homemade bread (3 types and definitely enough for 2 people was lovely and was served with butter and a salsa verde. Never had bread served with that so was a refreshing change. I wasn’t actually keen on my starter but my friend really enjoyed hers. For main we both had the chicken. It was amazing!!! Chicken was soft and melt in the mouth, crispy skin, the potato pave was buttery and soft and everything else on the plate was just stunning. High end!!!! Dessert was nice but my parfait was far too hard but the flavours were lovely. Food was a bonus as really I came for the whole experience and this did not disappoint. Jenna welcomed the group, took us through security and was happy to answer any enquiries or anything you were curious about. The servers were mostly inmates and all really professional and friendly. Our server was Joel. He did a fantastic job and by the time we were on dessert, we ended up having great conversations and he opened up on what his plans were and his time in prison. Really do wish him well. Apparently the roasts here are amazing so I’m going back for Sunday lunch very soon!! You can buy art on the wall and items in the cabinet (Clink cookbooks, bags, aprons ,mugs, bottles etc . You can’t take phones , bags or any smart watches in so again it was quite refreshing not to have a phone but would be good if they had a clock as we didn’t know the time! :"

"I had an absolutely wonderful experience dining at Namaste Gurkha, the Nepalese restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, charming and inviting, with beautiful Nepalese decor and soft lighting that creates a relaxing ambiance. Every dish that I tried was prepared with authentic Nepalese flavors and spices, cooked to a perfect blend of spice and heat, and absolutely delicious in taste. What really set Namaste Gurkha apart though was the exceptional service. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met, and giving us great recommendations on which dishes to try. Overall, I would highly recommend Namaste Gurkha to anyone looking for an authentic Nepalese dining experience in a comfortable and welcoming environment. The quality of the food and the exceptional service made this one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time!"
