big summer pub and very friendly to round. the food we had was well cooked and the price and the proportion of good value for money. a good place for a place of Sunday dinner and a few drinks in the beautiful surroundings of claygate View all feedback.
What Ruthybab doesn't like about The Griffin:
Went here for lunch. First thing that hit me as we walked in was the smell of bleach -a bit like a swimming pool . It's nice to know that the place is kept clean but a bit off putting when having a meal. My overwhelming impression was of a place that looks a bit tired and not very cosy and inviting.
