This restaurant is among the best in Elora, within the category of Cafés, and based on the average rating 3.3, Desert Rose Cafe is indeed not a bad choice.

I am so thrilled that Elora has a vegan/gluten-free cafe.
Offput immediately by the server who said she "never gives recommendations"....what? Very rude approach ... Won't be coming back to this quirky joint.

"The beef shortribs and chicken club sandwich were good. The CCS avocado was either in the sauce or missing.. the portions are small. I don't recommend the buttermilk chicken they tasted as if made from frozen. Overall it's extremely over priced for what you get."
