"Stumbled across this little place after dinner. Decided to stop in for a night cap. Really quirky venue with books to read and board games to play. The drinks came quickly and were so smooth! Definitely give this place a go"

"Fondata at Wellers 1872 is a fairly new restaurant where Wellers Hotel commenced operating in 1872. The old hotel was extended and completely renovated and looks brand new, while still retaining the best features of the old building, including the 2 way fire place and chimney made with handmade bricks - something my wife and I used to enjoy when having lunch at Wellers Hotel in the 'old days'.The Restaurant that has replaced the old hotel is hard to fault - the menu, the wine list, the friendly and efficient staff, the environment and the views of the countryside."

"I don't like to be mean. But my allegiance is to who reads this not the restaurant. Sounds "full of himself " but let's agree. The food on the table was fine. The service was way sub standard. If you employ family as front of house and she has no none English that's a minus for naive Thai diners who would like to be guided through the menu. Is this a balanced choice? Smile. Red duck curry. Chicken masuman. Tasty but not really distinctive flavors."

"The vegan options are currently a little limited, but the owner seemed interested in suggestions for expanding their range, in particular the baked goods and panes area. During my visit I ordered and enjoyed a smooth bowl, probably the best I had with just the right ratio of smoothie vs fruit. Take a look at the route."
