Food is absolutely great. This is one of my favorite breakfast get a ways. When in Ely this is an absolute must have.

Great food, service atmosphere! The pancakes are huge!!

Awesome tasting food. Friendly and quick service. Blueberry French toast highly recommended.

"This is my first time here. I can tell you that it was a treat! The service was wonderful, the decor was rustic with its stain glass lights hanging, and the food was amazing. My fiancée Lachs was probably my favorite between this and my hot Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. We love Ely and now it's another place to love while we visit. "Stopped here for a pre dinner ice cream treat while staying in Ely. The ice cream was expensive, as ice cream is when bought at a shop, but the waffle cone and ice cream were very good! The store itself had interesting decor and fun table seating. There was a store mascot golden retriever who begged for droppings and the palor was connected to a little gift shop."

"Stayed here for one night for a work trip and wished I could have stayed longer! All of my coworkers agreed: Room was exceptionally clean (if a little north woods dated) and very comfortable. Food was great tons of easy options. Just remember to make reservations because it gets BUSY. And the service was top notch I just stayed at the 5 star Mandarin Oriental in Jakarta for my honeymoon and I told my husband that I felt more welcomed at the Grand Ely. I’m already looking for dates for when I can bring the family up for a few days."
