Had a lovely high tea here on Saturday. We were blown away by the professionalism and quality food we had! Very enjoyable, and their bloody Mary is delicious!

Obviously the setting is wonderful surrounded by trout dams and mountains and beautiful homes. The food is good. Service good friendly people

"Mrs Simpson is not just a restaurant but an idea, of simpler times and good memories. The food is rich and nostalgic while the atmosphere is stimulating and coherent with the food and excellent service from the staff. I don't say this a lot but, my god this was an amazing experience. "We knew we would get into Dullstroom a bit late one night and phoned Mayfly on the way to make sure we would be in time before the kitchen closed. They told us they stop taking orders at 21:00, and we made it just it in time to Mayfly. The staff were fantastic. They took our drinks orders and didn’t rush our food orders or pressurise us at all to hurry up. The food was prepared perfectly and quickly, while still being delicious and well priced. There was also a wide variety of choices on the menu. The staff went above and beyond, we wanted to watch the rugby so one staff member even went to another establishment to find out if they would be showing it for us. We never felt rushed even though we got there late, which I appreciate from the management and staff."
