"Es gibt drei gute Gründe dieses Lokal zu besuchen:1. der ausserordentlich schön gestaltete Garten mit Blick auf Wiesen und Wälder 2. die abwechslungsreiche, ehrliche und solide Küchenarbeit auf hohem Niveau3. die dazugehörige Ausstellung von Antiquitäten und Werkstätten in denen es für jede/n etwas zu entdecken gibt.Zudem präsentiert sich der Rosstall in einer erfrischend unkomplizierten und sympathischen Weise. Die Bedienung ist freundschaftlich nett, aufgetischt wird in Schüsseln aus denen sich die Tischrunde jeweils individuell bedient (fast wie zuhause) und was aufgetischt wurde, hat uns überzeugt. Abends wird ein Menu serviert.Der Salat war bunt und sehr abwechslungsreich, die Rüebli-Vanillesuppe etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, der Rindshohrücken butterzart, der Risotto auf den Punkt gegart und die Panna Cotta mit Früchten sehr lecker. Gerne wieder."

"If you were to just judge this restaurant by the food, you would give it 4 or 5 stars. Unfortunately, we had to consume their offerings in a dining room literally filled with flies. Flies landing on our chairs. Flies landing on our food. Flies landing on our heads and bodies. If you want to hold yourself out as a serious restaurant, you really have three choices. One close the restaurant during heat waves. Two install air conditioning in your dining room. Three install screen doors to prevent the flies from inundating your dining room. Go there when there is not a heat wave the food is good and I'm sure you will enjoy it."
