Moto Deli - Encinitas

Decent sandwich. I was craving an Italian submarine. Cold cuts and some shredded lettuce, onions, some seasoning, oil vinegar on a fresh French bread. This had it all. If I could make any suggestion it would be to use shredded lettuce, and maybe a little more of the seasoning oil. They do have whole pickles for purchase so that’s a bonus.

Moto Deli has what is quite possibly the best meatball sandwich I 've ever had. Great sauce, meatballs may have been a mix of meats, but what stood out was the bread: not an overkill tooth-cracking toasted ciabatta like too many shops mistake for an 'artisan ' sandwich. No, this was soft, fresh bread, bread that is not going to overwhelm or compete for the taste and texture of the meatballs. Almost every other shop could take a few lessons here. I do wish the marked curbside parking had some space saved for motorcycles (as the name would suggest) and not only for phone order pickup.

Had the opportunity to try the Cuban Sandwich the other day and was quite impressed. If given the option, I always like to try Cuban sandwiches, and this one definitely impressed. The staff took great care of me and I was able to try a few of the cold brewed coffees available on tap....also very good. Can't wait to come back, just too bad I live in Pacific Beach and the drive to North County doesn't happen too often for me.

Cool little spot to stop for a bite before or after a ride. On a busy street. Parking isn't great, but they were cool enough to let our crew park at the pick up spot and they just moved the cones for us. Thanks Moto Deli

Great sandwich and great environment. Can’t go wrong with any of them, only complaint is that I wish you got a larger portion for the price. Great sub none the less
