the sign is partially correct, if not the best fish in b.c. it's would cetainly rank right up there, we had the halibut fish, (2 pieces)....one would have been enough,but,it was so good we ate both, very lightly battered and not greasy at all, the chips however were just o.k. and I would rate them a 6 out of 10. but that will not stop me from going back well worth the stop View all feedback.

"We've eaten at the Small Axe a couple of times over the past year and love it. We're both plant-based and there are tons of great, delicious options here. We really enjoy the poutine and tacos. Cocktails are excellent quality too and wine by the bottle is really reasonable. We're cyclists, so after a good ride in the area (which is gorgeous for cycling) we love to pop in here for a bite and some cold drinks. Given it's winter now, we'll be popping in after a cross country ski at nearby Larch Hills for a hot meal and some apres!"

"One of my favorite places to go for a nice lunch or slice of pie is definitely The Pie Company. It is such a cute little place and the food is amazing! They do have pies but they also have coffee, soup,sandwiches and water.It is the perfect place to eat if you are walking arownd downtown for the day. And I would strongly recommend trying it."
