"Decided to try Mildreds as suggested by a friend who is a vegan despite having my reservations about it, I decided let’s see what the hype is! I was greeted by Antonio who was absolute charming and very accommodating to me, he accompanied me to a window table where I waited for my friend (who’s birthday it was)! I ordered a drink a mocktail and it was absolutely refreshing and lovely to drink! We ordered starters, main and dessert! I made super sure I had room for desserts of course "

"With our wedding anniversary in mid January dining out somewhere special gives us something to look forward to after Christmas. This year we chanced upon Frog so decided to make a reservation for lunch. Well, it really was special. The tasting menu was superb and we’ve had many over the years) Each course was a delight. The portions were ‘just right’ and the pacing likewise. Being our anniversary we naturally chose the wine pairing. This starts with champagne so perhaps we didn’t need to have the champagne aperitif . Still, it was nice! We chose the classic wine pairing which at £135 was,we felt, about right. The wines were well chosen and complimented the dishes. The sommelier was excellent, knowledgeable, informative and we think she will do well in her career. The ambience and service was relaxed, but with the right degree of attentiveness. Would we go again? Yes so here’s to our birthday present to ourselves in the summer"

"Had a lovely dinner at The Five Fields. We had the tasking menu which was versatile, tasty and well presented. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. The staff was attentive. The food was well paced. The dishes themselves were very tasty, though some had somewhat similar aroma to them and weren't so original. The execution was excellent. "I was very pleased with the service, the waiters are very friendly and not stuck up unlike some places i have been to of a similar price. They firstly give you bread and butter which was tasty and we ordered a main with sides each and also dessert. The food was amazing, the macaroni cheese and the mash with caramelized onions was so good! I wish i got chips too everything looked delicious. They give generous side portions wish i could of ate more sides! : I highly recommend this restaurant, i will definitely go back here!"
