What Carole Lloyd doesn't like about Zum Weissen Pfau:
I order nuggets to chickens and I get (apress 45 minutes waiting) duck nuggets, the waitress tells me that it's chickens but I recognize to tastes (as I hate duck) and has the color more of the potatoes that wasn't cooked enough so the dejeuner is stopped there View all feedback.
Nice country restaurant in Schloss Hof with friendly staff, good food and big portions. Prices are good. Only bad is, when its cold outside, they have very big door like a gate and when someone open it, is very cold inside for a few minutes.
We had a great meal here while sitting on a very big patio overlooking the petting zoo. Great service too. Pumpkin, potato and sausage stew was delicious and the Blood Sausage with Sauerkraut was the best we have ever had! The only reason we was the Chestnut cake dessert which was old and did not have any perceivable chestnut in it.
At every visit in the castle hof is a detour to this must be local for us. this time too, but we had enjoyed better eating here. service na yes was also better, as we got the food served without cutlery and only got one with demand. the quality of food itself is quite different today. some of us found it good, my sloof with a dumpling was quite dry and the smoky noodle unfortunately also not especially. priced for this place ok. ambiente with closed for us always worth visiting. next visit we will try again.
Eating keeps the quality that promises the menu. seasonal dishes and products of the region: cold avocado soup, delicate pink grilled calfsrückensteak on egg-sweet spaghetti, large salat with delicious marinadesvery attentive also that we had a place on the terrace under the sun-sail at great heat. the interior is cozy and modern, the wc’s stylish rebuilt.Under the terrace is the caretaker too with goats, sheep and chickens, which also say .;-)as we as a group had only 1 1/2 hours time and was recommended to eat à la carte, I was skeptical whether the time is sufficient. but the friendly service was so flink at drinks, pre- and main meals that dessert and coffee still went out loose, some of them might take an example. The complex of schloss hof offers something for everyone: culture, beautiful baroque garden with great prospect, a colorful sea on flowers, strokes, many animals and playground
We were here randomly so what a surprise that the food was really great - especially the burger, it costs like 19.99 which is crazy but its from some special local BIO beef. It was maybe a best berger i ever ate big portion of spiced fried potatoes and some mushrooms so even i was very hungry in was not able to eat that all ;) . The remaining foods looks very traditional and simple but that does not mean they can't be delicious too. The only small minus for me was that we were at terace and under the it there are the goats located - so sometimes it smelled to very good.
