for over 6 years. not sure why the negative reviews. affordable and friendly retro dim sum place, in which did the only dim sum space in the opposite. the prices have risen since the pandemic, but still better than chinatown. do not expect a fine and delicate dimsum, but a homemade vibe that cannot always be perfect. also cooked dishes are great, no complaining. Fantastic eating to great trips. real gem of a place to offer a dimming sum outside the center of london. the prices are also very reasonable. my man and I order always last (about 8-10 dishes) with jasmine tee and beer and bill is always approx. 45 £. this includes food for my small child and we always take rest after home. eating is very good and the restaurant is family friendly. it is a very large venue with lots of space, as it is always extremely busy on Sundays, so book in advance! there is a large selection of dresses for which they can find the menu online on their website. they also make freshly made fruit juices and bubbled. a good note on how well this is eating here is the number of Chinese people they see eating here, as well as kept here at high times. beautiful staff overall and easy to park on the street outside.
Good food great prices. I decided to try the dimsum in hong kong city after reading about it on a blog. the living in South East london meant that there were nearby limited places for dimsum and new cross would not be too far away. we came on a Saturday 2pm and there was a decent number of tables occupied by people who seemed like regular. we sat immediately and were presented with a decent selection of dim-sum dishes with some Vietnamese style additions. we ordered the following dishes: har gau (good garnels and chive knödel (very delicious Vietnamese style cheong fun (nice change to usual baby oktopus in curry sauce (I enjoyed it but my partner found the ice cream too strong for its liking glutinous rice in lotus leaf the bill came to less than £20 for both of us with jasmine tea, which was a bargain, and we enjoyed the meal and left with happy mutils. I appreciate it as well and maybe even better than most in chinatown and baker street. we will be safe again. total review: 9/10
All in all, I would recommend to everyone to try the dimm sum in hong kong city.

Great dim sum at reasonable prices food is made fresh. Quick and fast service. Would be nice if the had other options apart from pork there dim sum has a lot of pork option apart from that nice place.
