"I get it, the desk clerk is a young woman and that she is in therapy, however, she needs to learn that when a customer is questioning the reservation upon check-in, its NOT all about her but all about the customer and pleasing that customer. She needs to learn customer service and how to de-escalate instead of escalating an issue. So I had to take 2 stars off for service and 1 for the overall review. Check-in was definitely not a good experience and did taint the stay. I suggest management teach her and possibly even mentor her for awhile. The room was clean, quiet and lovely. Slept great. The restaurant there had delicious food (recommend the rib eye with the cowboy butter! and also had great service."

"Waitress (Logan) didn't mind when we opted to move outside when it warmed up. The burger was great, and large enough to share for lunch. Onion rings were fabulous and so were the fries (when the fries are fresh). Good craft beer selection."

"After a beautiful day enjoying the Madison River and Cliff Lake we had an outstanding meal here! I would give the meal 10 stars if I could. White linens attentive service. My son, daughter in law and friend were all pleased with each selection we made. The Elk (med rare) was melt in your mouth and paired perfectly with a side. A ton of flavor. The rest of us enjoyed scallops, beef steak and cioppino. Do not leave without ordering with the duck pate and lamb as starters. Great selection of wine to pair with all selections. We all agreed we will go back!"
