we ate there for both evenings and stayed for two nights in the hotel. the food was delicious and the place was cozy. would stay again!

Love it here the pizzas r fab. Was surprised that we liked the autum menu it had wild meat with schpatzle. Awesome!!!

"We've been going to this restaurant at Blapbach for many years, run by the Hofer family. I can't be entirely without bias as my opinion is formed by many years of holiday memories, but I have eaten here very happily in the past and in the last year too. They serve good solid Bernese food, with lots of varieties of sausages and, of course, the excellent rosti which I can't recommend enough: a cake of melting grated potato crisped in butter. Massive meringues and ice cream confections and the Blapbach coffee (with schnapps and whipped cream) finish off the meal. Park up, go for a walk in the beautiful Emmental, and enjoy the restaurant. Did I mention the view? You get to experience the best of the crinkling landscape that makes the Emmental so special."

"If you were to just judge this restaurant by the food, you would give it 4 or 5 stars. Unfortunately, we had to consume their offerings in a dining room literally filled with flies. Flies landing on our chairs. Flies landing on our food. Flies landing on our heads and bodies. If you want to hold yourself out as a serious restaurant, you really have three choices. One close the restaurant during heat waves. Two install air conditioning in your dining room. Three install screen doors to prevent the flies from inundating your dining room. Go there when there is not a heat wave the food is good and I'm sure you will enjoy it."

"The upper restaurant with magnificent view over luzern and the lake. the restaurant is located in the hotel montana. the easiest way to get to the hotel is the stand cable car (free and fun, the shortest stand cable car in Switzerland). the food was delicious and the service was very friendly. a great place for a romantic dinner or a jubilee to celebrate. next to the restaurant there is also a jazzbar and a smoker lounge. there were several vegetarian and vegan options."

"Love the vegan options here! I was not expecting to be able to eat schnitzel during my time in Switzerland so to find a place that had vegan schnitzel in a sandwich was so lovely. The sandwich had all the usual trimmings in this part of the world and it was so yummy. I’d get this again and the prices are so good for Switzerland."
