"We had a bigger group come in the other night. We didn?t make a reservation but they were able to squeeze us in. The food was fantastic. Ethan, our server, was very personable, very attentive to our needs, and had a stellar sense of humor. We haven?t had that much fun at a restaurant in a while and they killed it. Our food came out hot and delicious. Their drinks were spot on (you can actually taste the booze). Not overpowering but made just right. I ordered the Tomahawk Steak off of their specials menu. I was hesitant at first because of the $60 price tag, but I have to say the steak was cooked perfectly the sides were delicious and the sauce was impeccable. This was an amazing experience coming here. Amazing food, amazing service, and staff. We will be back!"

"We had our Christmas Day plans change as we hit a frozen Route 95 on our way to Jay, Maine. We headed back to Exeter thinking of our options when we thought of Szechaun Taste and Chinese Food for Christmas dinner. It was an unlikely day but a great choice. The staff was welcoming, the food was incredible and our waiter, Kevin, could not have been better. He was attentive, knew the offerings when we asked questions, and he could not have been more professional. It may not have been our first choice but could not have been a better choice. Thank you Szechaun Taste and especially Kevin for helping to make this Christmas Day a wonderful memory."

"On the way home we found this restaurant. Food and service were very good. We had an appetizer with squash, sweet potatoes, apples and a sweet sauce. It was so good. We had the special pasta dish, the ricotta, kale and spinach filled homemade ravioli with a Cashew pesto sauce with a corn relish. That was very good. If we're back, we'll definitely go back."

"Caleb's is an iconic old country store , and worth a visit. The cheese and pickle barrel are still great, but lack of updated bathroom and high prices for touristy stuff dampens it's appeal."
