Went to Laurie Dee's for dinner tonight with my partner. We both ordered the double cheeseburger which was fresh and delicious. She got the cheese fries whilst I settled for the plain fries which were amazing and paired with the classic condiment tomato sauce you can't go wrong. Highly recommend this meal to anyone who hasn't already tried it. View all feedback.

I had been looking forward to visiting Laurie Dee's for a long time and I finally made it there! We ordered the Laurie Dee burger and the bacon burger between the two of us. View all feedback.

Having seen rave reviews of Laurie Dee’s in the newspaper, I headed off today for the 30 minute drive to check it out. Big place that Epping Plaza but I found the restaurant after a stroll around. Ordered “The Laurie Dee” burger, a small chips (these have to be ordered as an extra) & a strawberry shake. Also added crispy bacon to the burger for an additional $2. Got a ticket with the number 76 & waited for that number to be called. Immediately no 70 was called so I thought – good, this will be quick – but no, a 20 minute wait ensued. Really for such a simple meal, 20 minutes is just too long. But then my call & pick up from the counter. The fries are smallish cut but were delicious – just the right amount of added herbs. Did not like the shake at all – made with custard as that is the house specialty – but not to my taste, but does not influence my rating overall. Was disappointed with the burger for a number of reasons. The patty was thin & dry, the whole burger was dry. Love burgers that are dripping with juices but absolutely none of that here. And that extra $2 bacon – cooked to end of life & then a bit more again – not crispy, just burnt. So no, I will not go out of my way to do this again.
Took my sisters here for a birthday treat, what delicious burgers they have here. Yum! Worth the money. Great shakes too. If you are in the area call in and grab a burger. Won't disappoint.
I visited this restaurant with a few of the people from my church in Thomastown and had found that the food was very filling. I had one of the big hamburgers along with chips with cheese and a thickshake for that lunch and this reminded me of a lunch that wouldn't be out of place in a classic American diner. That is something that is very filling and very tasty and represents value for money. For example, the cheese fries came across very authentic with that strong tasty cheese along with the real hot chip taste. The main letdown here may be that it becomes so busy due to the good-quality food that you may have to factor in a bit of a wait but it is worth it.
