Not for yonks, come on Monday 27th hopefully for my free drink owed me over a year because a afternoon tee I ordered was never delivered lol come with my long friend for cocktails
Amazing food, drinks and employees are so welcoming and friendly.
Giving one, just because I can't score less. It has the potential for a lively setting, and good food. However, although presentation was appealing, the food itself for me was inedible, I left almost all of my food, I ate some beans which were just about palatable-but cold-the bread was the best part. Sausages were very salty, bacon cooked to resemble cardboards, eggs that were well poaced but tasted wrong. The tea was very weak. To the service: The tables were sticky and I had to put a napkin down, just so I could put my hands and arms on the table. We were left for the entirety of our meal, noone came to ask if the food was OK etc. I tried numerous times to get a waiters attention. We finally got it and he took our plates away, nothing no how was the food or was there a problem? you haven't eaten much etc. Came back with the bill and offered us a loyalty card. My husband said we weren't coming back here. Again nothing just oh. Then he walked away. Very disappointing.
Staff were lovely and helpful. I ordered scrambled eggs and found them a bit too watery. But was still nice
We go in copper cogs quite often for coffee and a snack and also visit in the evening for drinks and tapas. The food is lovely and so is the coffee. The white pinot wine is especially nice. Staff are also very friendly.
