My partner and I always make a point to stop at this restaurant. Even though it’s not fully vegan, all the dishes can be made vegan and gluten-free. The homemade cashew cheese on the wraps and sandwiches is fantastic. The ingredients are top-notch quality. What M C doesn't like about The Co-op Cafe:
The restaurant claims to be supportive of the community and talks about how they are filling a need in a food desert, but their prices are extremely high. It is essentially a fancy grocery store catering to wealthy individuals, and they should recognize that. This is likely why their downtown location closed. View all feedback.
It was very tasty wrap I don’t remember name but it had Buffalo chicken with good mixed of flavor. I would recommend the place
Awesome wrap and chili. Best food I've eaten in almost three weeks.
Her buffalo wrap with the vegan protein option (tempeh) and vegan cashew cheese ordered is as damn good as. dreamy good; I always find that I get it whenever I decide to eat there. updated by previous review on 2022-04-10
We travel to Presque Isle at least once a year and this Cafe quickly became a staple in our travel plans. We have breakfast, lunch and many times dinner (all in the same day) and pick up supplies at the grocer. At first we were just vegan, but then had to go gluten-free as well, and the cafe has not disappointed! Great food, great people, great environment!
Great variety of sandwich options and located in a co-op market with great selection of vegan items.
