"The food was very delicious. The spring roll is highly recommended and the baked duck is also top. The drinks (with us Fanta soft wheat) came ice cold and quickly, even the time until the food was with us, went very quickly in the pleasant atmosphere."

"My first night in Germany, after a long, 8 hour drive in torrential rain , and most restaurants already fully booked just three days before Christmas. But the very friendly waitress found me a quiet corner and I was very quickly brought a delicious glass...of Reisling and a menu. I started with the smoked salmon and potato cakes, a German favourite of mine, followed by three mini schnitzel on toast with a mushroom sauce. It was good but not outstanding. Had I not had to leave the table due to it being reserved, I would like to have stayed longer and had a further glass of wine. Next time I shall make sure I book"

"On the first day we stopped in soest for lunch. we don't speak German, but the waiting staff was so friendly and helpful. they have an English menu available, but I asked the waiter to choose a meal he wants. he chose a...Fleisch, filled with cheese, rice, fries and a cat. it was phenomenal. they also have great beers. it was crowded with natives who speaks to me how big it is. the atmosphere is old German. the menu is cheap. the personal is great. it is conveniently located in the city center. they have eaten free. if they are in soest, they should stop for lunch or dinner."
