"Its a bar not a restaurant. Bar food Ok. Had to bus our own table to remove the onion ring grease. Had to fend for ourselves to find the dirty table. Watched other folks come and go do to non existent assistance. Limited food in town so Guessing the drinks made the better rating with the locals. Alcohol does cloud your judgment. Pizza place down the street was awesome I might and certainly a level above this place in quality and friendliness."

"This was the only dinner we could find when we arrived in Escalante on Friday in April at 8:30. We had the restaurant for us. First the order had to give up, pay, then put it. I had the chicken tortilla soup and it was amazing! Besides, the peppermint hot had tea and that was also perfect. We shared the chips and salsa uniquely with the spices they added, and the dessert cake was fine."

"We came here Sunday May 14th 45 minutes before closing to find the teenage employee working had put all the chairs up and all the food was covered and he was essentially hiding in the back. When he finally ventured out I asked him if they were open to which he replied yeah but were about to close . I rolled my eyes and walked off."

"Really cute shop selling a variety of naks and art. You have some nice things, but it's a little expensive. They also serve coffee and cakes that looked good. Make sure you stop at the Burr Trail Grill."

"We came here for dinner two nights in a row while staying in the area. The food is phenomenal, and the owner and employees are so kind! The interior is very cozy, but there are also many outdoor seats with gorgeous views if the weather permits outdoor dining. Do yourself a favor and try the soup of the day and the dessert. It was the perfect night cap after some long hikes nearby. We were lucky to be there around the time a fresh skillet apple pie was done baking in the oven. It was heavenly, 10/10. Very vegetarian friendly as well for a place known for its variety of hot dogs. A hidden gem!"
