"It’s the only place opened in town on a Saturday afternoon and we were so happy to find out indeed it’s quite a nice spot. "Escalante is very small town with few quality places to dine. 4th West was recommended by our hotel lady and it did not disappoint!! The Paninis were delicious. Atmosphere was comfortable and the service was friendly. Bar was capably managed by Dave(yes, THAT Dave)"

"Beautiful small business offers cooked eating with vegan options. the load also operates a quantity of vegetable materials, including milk and not milk cheese. we had pasta al pesto, roasted kartoffels and thai kos and sweet potato soup. everything was super tasty and we had it in the sun in the tables they had outside."

"One of the best post bike ride or hike lunches is a sausage! Had their beef and pork version with sauerkraut and added chopped jalapeños(they were fresh so a bit milder than I like but still good). Super friendly service and plenty of outdoor seating and some nice indoor if that is your preference. Prices are more than reasonable for the area."

"Sitting up high on top of the Escalante cliffs, the Kiva Koffeehouse has an amazing view! The Cafe has picture windows set in a semi-circular building affording beautiful views every direction. The outdoor patio is wonderful in pleasant weather and is dog friendly too. Definitely worth the stop!"

"My husband and I stayed at this B&B on July 23-25. It is just the cutest place. We were in the Lodge Room. It is the only room facing the street which was perfect to watch the Pioneer Day Parade. The owners were so kind and friendly. The breakfast was yummy and I squeezed my own orange juice. We will definitely stay here again when we return."
