Granted, I haven't been to Ireland, but my experience here is what I think an Irish Pub would be like. Everyone seemed to know the owner and the bartender and had nothing but good things to say. The only drawback is the cigarette smoke inside. I went in knowing this, even though I'm a non-smoker. I stayed at the hotel across the street, and I was craving some Guinness. Staying at the hotel across the way & skirted over for dinner with colleagues...
