"We like this place but it was a hot day so waiting on the shade of the trees was not so great.ostly we eat hear in the summer evenings at outside picnic tables, in the shade of big trees and with a little breeze it is very pleasant. Had a great pork andguacamole burrito that had nice big chunks of meat. Fresh tortilla chips with guacamole and pico . A cold lemonade and a coldmango drink finished off our meal."

"This place has gotten so bad We ordered specialty volcano tacos and we got a lump of rice this is the second time I try to get something good out of this place they act like the beef is coming out of their pockets get with the program make the burritos the way they should be made not stuff them with rice disgusting I will never order any type of burrito at Espanola Taco Bell again I guess we'll just stick with the tacos since that seems to be the easiest way to get meat in your order"

"Españolas best Chinese.... 3 stars Shanghai is located in the middle of Española's Strip (a.k.a. Riverside Drive). It is in a not describing small stripe mall that is very easy to miss, drive north. We came to dinner on Saturday night. My wife and I went for a date night without the kids. We're new to the Española Valley, we're slowly trying all the restaurants in town. This time we tried Shanghai. The dining room is located in a strange location in the middle of the building. In the middle of the dining room there is a buffet table that was not used on Saturday night, we visited. There was only one waitress who monitored all the cartridges, but the place was unfortunately not too busy. We ordered two entrees, Lemon Chicken and Cantonese noodles (with chicken and pork). Every guest comes with a soup of the day. On our day it was Egg Drop. The lemon chicken should come with fried rice, and it was forgotten by our server. We didn't mention them because we had more than enough food. Our soup came out quickly, and it was very good. Served accordingly hot. Our entrees came out at different intervals, 5 minutes apart. We ate family style that we often do in Chinese restaurants. The lemon chicken was very well prepared and the fried portions were made very good. Not too heavy or greasy. The lemon sauce was a bit heavy for my taste. We really enjoyed the Cantonese noodles. So often I find Asian restaurants hard to cook over the noodles, but Shanghai has it right. Her vegetables were also perfectly cooked, and they were of good quality. All in all, a good meal. We will return when in the mood for Chinese. Especially about the other Chinese restaurant in Española."

"On the way back, Chris stops at El Parasol, (The original take out taco stand that spawned El Paraqua) for some quick take out. The breakfast burritos are to die for. This is fast food for the foodie in all of us!"
