"We have been going to Soccorro's since we moved here a year ago. Soccorro is a wonderful lady. However, the service has drastically declined within that time period. Service is slow. If you eat in the front of the restaurant, you are forgotten even though you can be seen through the windows and doors into the main restaurant. Today is a turning point in the fact that we will not go back again. My husband and I ordered the dinner Chicken Fried Steak. This comes with salad, mashed potatoes, and sopapillas. I did not want potatoes, I asked for french fries instead. When our dinner was brought out the chicken fried steaks were half the portion. When asked about it, we were told they changed companies and it is smaller than the previous company's cf steaks. My husband's order came out ok. I had been finished eating my cf steak by almost 10 minutes and had not received the French fries I ordered to replace the potatoes. I told the girl waiting on us to cancel them since I had already finished my meal. The server had not asked us to see if our meal was okay after serving us and did not ask to refill drinks. I told her we would take the sopapillas. We were told they cannot make sopapillas at the same time pizzas are made. I told her we had ordered our meal before the pizza order was put in and our sopapillas should have been done first. The bill came to 37.69. I disputed the bill with the girl. She was not willing to reduce our bill for lack of being served our food and eating our meal with each portion together the way you would typically eat a meal. I had seen Soccorro. Said I wanted to speak with her about the bill. The girl told me she was busy doing catering for 100 people. This conversation would have taken less than five minutes. But, Soccorro was too busy to talk with us and offered .75 to be taken off our bill. Soccorro has lost customers. We will never go back."

"This is a real tourist trap, I wanted to like it but meh. The positives were the jalapeño poppers and the combination picante was good value for the price. Negatives plastic table cover and plastic cutlery cheapens the ambience, give people proper silverware. I would avoid the trout with almond and stick to Mexican food. The trout had soggy skin and the flavor combinations wasn?t hitting any home runs for me. It wasn?t completely terrible but I would not return nor recommend a trip out of your way."
