We love to have dinner before evening concerts (or coffee in the afternoon) in Wallberg, situated wihin the vuilding of the Philharmonie Essen. It has a pleasant appearance, excellent and friendly service and excellent food. The menues change regularly, so it is not getting boring to eat the same dishes. We were a party of four for lnch. The menu was short, good for a decision. Additionaly, there were two "lunches", one seems to be a sort of tomato soup - a litte bit strange.Anyway, we chose a soup (coconut-curry with a dim sum) that was yummy, but a little short.
