"Very good restaurant. slightly expensive, but they get what they pay. decent local ales on the hand pump. very nice staff too. Unfortunately, the restaurant part of the pub seems to have terrible acoustics, and all we could hear were the other tables instead of our own party."

"We visited The Boomshop for Sunday lunch on Sunday 29th October. This is absolutely superb restaurant with excellent staff and exemplary food. Probably the best Sunday lunch we’ve ever had. "We have been to many Michelin star restaurants, Mortimers is up there with them minus the inflated prices. We indulged in the taster lunch menu (great value) and it didn't disappoint.The food, service and ambiance was top notch. We shall definitely be returning to this excellent restaurant.
