"The hotel restaurant is clearly popular with other than hotel guests so be sure to book a table in peak season and for a good meal with a couple of glasses of wine expect to pay circa Euros a head. The three course tariff...at euros is good value as there is basically a choice of anything off the menu with a few extra costs for the more expensive dishes. Steaks are thick, large and extremely tender and tasty. My wife loved the calves liver whilst the Black Forest Parfait with kirsch soaked morello cherries made me very happy. Service was good, some nice little touches but why they did not first offer us a drink when we sat at the table before ordering food was a mystery to me. On the third occasion we dined there they actually did so! ]As it was warm the staff were keen to offer seating in the pleasant garden so make sure you wear insect repellent if you accept the offer as I did not and paid the price! Finally if staying for longer than a few days then the menu might feel a little repetitive, nice little touches such as amuse bouche' and main course covers being lifted simultaneously so it is clear the owner is keen to lift the standard and it is against the standard of a top quality restaurant I rate the establishment."

"Very cozy small hotel. Very little choice for vegetarians, but available choices are tasty. One risotto, one rosti, ..that's all. But good quality food nevertheless. The best feature was the warm friendliness of the hotel owner who's family is the serving staff. Such friendly and...helpful people, attract you to the place again and again. Breakfast was the best with a fantastic array of breads and cheeses."

"The food was excellent from our point of view. My brother celebrated his wedding and all the hygiene regulations were adhered to. The appetizers were Mediterranean and had an enormous variety. The main course consisted of a grill station, which has always prepared the meat and also fish on the point. And there was nothing to put out at Dessert."

"Car can be parked outside for free anywhere in the alt stadt.The restaurant is great, friendly staff and good food for reasonable prices.There is an type 2 ev charger in less than 1 minute walk.We had a 4 person Family room, clean and cozy, good beds, shower and toilet and big room. It was 23 degrees outside so the room has a very ok temperature to sleep in. Has a own breakfast room few steps away on the same floor, very conveniënt."

"My mother and I were extremely satisfied with the very friendly and attentive service. We had a nice table, very nicely set for two people. The meal was excellent. The ox cheeks are wonderfully tender with a very tasty sauce. The spaetzle were also very tasty. The wine list is also very selected and recommended. We'd love to come back. Maybe in the sunshine on the beautiful terrace with the wonderful view"
