"I was truly impressed with our visit today. The food and the staff were excellent. We had the two meat plates with burnt ends fried pickles, baked beans, and fries. The burnt ends were the best we have ever had. They were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The young lady at the counter named Shy was truly what made our day. Not only did she have excellent customer service skills but she also asked us how the food was on the way out the door. That is so rare these days, it really made our day. Thank you for being the best BBQ place around town and in Kansas"

"We had one of the best waiters we 've ever had. Personable, knowledgeable, and attentive without being hovery. The special he suggested was delicious; chicken breast on mashed potatoes with a Peruvian sauce. A band was playing called Smoke Damage . We stayed for the rest of their gig. What a fun band! "The person that dropped off my food heard me say oh man. He came back and asked what was wrong. I told him I forgot to ask for no lettuce, he took it back and fixed it. I went to look for a knife a few minutes later but they didn’t have any. He saw that and came to the table with a knife and fork. Great work ethic and great customer service!"
