What User likes about Newman’s Grotto:
the best fish dishes in the opposite. this is my Friday ritual every week. my favorites is the cod and chips and their tarter sauce is the best around. their skin on fries are as wonderful as the fish. it is a small taste of the coast here in eugene. read more.

What User doesn't like about Newman’s Grotto:
Fish and chips are great. Not with shells. It is often warm (not safe for a creamy soup) and most of the time there are no potatoes or shells. I'd be ashamed to charge $5 for a bowl of shell hunting without shells. Edit on 9/26/22: I give up. I asked that there were shells and potatoes when I get the chowder.
