"We thought on Saturday afternoon as a fast lunch. service was great, but eating was good from this world! the black salad was beautiful, with a beautiful mix of greens. the jalapeño poppers filled with salmon and cream cheese and packed in speck were different, but delicious. portions are very generous. the restaurant was very clean."

"My family and I tried the Horseshoe Grill today for lunch. I was honestly not sure if a four or five star rating would be more appropriate; honestly, it’s more of a 4.5 for me and my wife. But that being said, here are the reasons: 1) All the food we tried was solidly good and tasty, though the portion sizes were a bit average (not many fries with our burgers, for example). That being said; 2) the price of the food is also VERY reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food you get, so, as long as you’re okay with not necessarily leaving stuffed or with a bunch of leftovers, you should be happy with Horseshoe Grill. All that being said; 3) the service was also friendly and the waitress was attentive to our needs; 4) the food all came out quite quickly being that it was the heart of lunchtime, and; 5) the atmosphere in general was pretty rustic and warm. We all agreed that we were happy we went, and as long as everything I described sounds good to you, you should enjoy it too!"

"My 5 star rating was for the service. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The salsa was horrible just like other reviews say. No effort put into it at all. The cheese enchiladas were good. The sauce needs work. Start with using dried new Mexico chilis softened in chicken stock, garlic powder and a little cumin along along with what you are putting in it. The rice and beans needed a lot of work. Serving Fresh Pico de gallo would help your restaurant a lot. This is the first time I ever had bad Mexican rice in restaurant. It did not have the familiar fluff I'm used to. The taco was horrible. Nothing Mexican about it. I doubt very much there is a Mexican cook in that Kitchen. I hate doing a bad review, but I hope the owners listens and makes necessary improvements. We'll wait a couple of months then try it again to see if they really care about making improvements."
