This was my second visit to this wonderful restaurant. The first time, in we happened upon it after dinner elsewhere and caught a fado night, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. In October we returned to Évora and sought out this cozy and typically Alentejano restaurant. Terrible and overpriced food, and extremely disrespectful host. Listening to our conversations and opinions on the food, and starting to argue with us. Also dirty plates and cutlery. I had to go to the washroom to clean them, since we had already ask for new...ones and it came dirty again. Don’t get me wrong, I love food and eating out, but this is simply not a good place. When the weather is good you can also eat outside, and there's a counter where you can sit and taste. The guest room invites you to linger and extensively enjoy.
