"Today was quite unusual because it's Friday night, and traditionally, my fam and I opt for takeout and head to Ala Moana to watch the fireworks. However, for some reason, I had a strong craving for shabu shabu, and surprisingly, I managed to convince my wife and kids to join me for a shabu shabu dinner. Of course, our go-to spot for this delightful meal is the Hawaii Pot Shabu Shabu in Kapolei.Upon our arrival, the restaurant was predictably bustling. Fortunately, there was one available table, and we were seated right away, already a 10/10. To my surprise, the servers were impressively swift, taking our orders with a friendly and helpful demeanor. Despite being a busy night, they brought our soup bases within a mere five minutes, which, in my book, deserves another 10/10. As always, the soups and food were exquisite; this place consistently exceeds our expectations.Even during their busiest hours, the staff maintains their exceptional service and keeps a positive atmosphere. I must commend their attentiveness and patience with customers. It's no wonder that no one seemed dissatisfied with the service or food; this place truly excels in the realm of shabu shabu. From my experiences across numerous places in Oahu, Hawaii Pot Shabu Shabu in Kapolei unquestionably stands out. Today, my dining experience was easily a perfect 20/10. I cannot recommend this place enough. In my opinion, it excels in every aspect of the dining experience. While there may be other spots with outstanding soups or meat selections, this place delivers an exceptional overall dining experience."

"Food was really good and the portions are very generous. I ordered the Big Ramen bowl to replace the trunk with Udon noodles. There were about 12 tables in the restaurant and they have dinner or takeout. I took it and the food was ready in 10 minutes, which was really fast. They had amazing take-out shots and distributed everything so that I could make the court as I wanted when I came home."
