Felix, our server was splendid. It was my birthday and a surprise from my wife. Restaurant wasn't too overly busy. However, service was excellent and in a timely fashion. Portion of food was superb, had to get a to go box. Great establishment to eat at. View all feedback.
What Jamison Carpenter doesn't like about El Maguey Excelsior Springs:
Rather poor experience overall. Fajitas had no flavor at all -it was very weird. Vegetables were under-cooked and way oversized. Cheese dip was runny. Street tacos were a greasy mess. I didn't find a single thing on our table that didn't seem like it came out of a can. After taking our food order, we never saw our server again. I don't see any reason to return, unfortunately. Service was great, food was good, hot and on time. The staff really seems to care about their customers.
Would have been 5 stars but after politely declining alcohol, they kept trying to push it. Maybe be considerate of those that may be in recovery.
Food is great for the price, the staff is very courteous and attentive!

First time here. Took over 10 minutes after we were seated for our waiter to come to the table. When our order was delivered, one was wrong and we ultimately had to find someone to find our waiter to send it back (another 10+ minutes). Quality is what you probably expect (ok). Not a destination location or anything we will plan on going to regularly.
