We have been to this restaurant twice. Once for Sunday lunch as a large family group and once as two couples. On both occasions, the food and the service were excellent. Very good quality ingredients, a creative menu in a beautiful setting. I am surprised that such a good kitchen has such demotivated waiting staff. It is almost as if the waiters are there to make you feel uncomfortable. The service is borderline petulant. Every request is met with rolled eyes and you are made to feel that they are in a rush. Came here to eat, the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly, all expect one. I noticed a man in a white polo shirt which i assume was the boss, who although he was lovely with us, there are no words that come to mind when describing his behaviour towards his staff and the way he spoke to them, who were very young in age.
Food was excellent gastronomy. Service was prompt; staff were super nice. Decor was sophisticated with a rustic feel to it. I had the artichoke to start and a delicately cooked piece of veal with a provencal sauce on a bed of spinach with roasted fingerling potatoes. Bread and wine were excellent. Portions were just right. No dessert. Will go again.
2eme visite dans ce restaurant et pas déçu ! Le resto et super les produits son top ! La cadre magnifique dans ce petit village magnifique ! Et le service et très sympathique !!! En couple ou entre amis franchement ça vos le détour !
Certes avec le nom du restaurant j'aurais dû me méfier. Mais deux plats avec la même aubergine, le même accompagnement, le même assaisonnement c'est un peu trop dans la même soirée. Et bien sûr le responsable de salle, sans doute trop occupé à indiquer les plats non disponibles n'a pas jugé bon de me préciser que les deux plats avaient la même base. Le tout en deux heures ça fait long et triste....
Un nouveau passage au bistrot l'Aubergine ou tout se passe toujours à merveille.Bravo pour l'accueil et la cuisine toujours impeccable.Nous reviendrons.
