Afte driving thru a horrible rain storm we were looking forward to a quick hot meal. First the drive thru speaker was not working but there was no notice posted. I placed my order at the window and waited in the rain. I waited about 15 minutes and watched employees walking around and confersing. "Perfect end for a day on the river. A family friendly, seafood joint/bar and grill on the bank of Fish River (The family friendly part is a sign asking you not to cuss and a really neat natural sand box for the little ones. The setting is river casual... People come by car and boat. My last two times at Big Daddy 's, my wife and I were paddling our kayaks. The view is wonderful... The drinks are good... The food is basic fried seafood and seafood po boys. For excellent cheap meal, order the black and stormy (Kraken spiced rum and ginger ale and half a soft shell crab po boy and gumbo. The soft shells are fat and tasty. The gumbo is thin and tomato based but delicious and spicy. The French bread for the po boy would makes make New Orleans proud. When I order this, I eat the crab first...then I dip the French bread in the gumbo. A really good basic meal. Big Daddy 's is not a gourment restaurant. It is the perfect ending for a day on the river. Highly recommended."

"Wonderful menu and I haven't been disappointed yet. I tried various Taco options, the salmon was one of my faves. I also had one of the noodle dishes that was also very tasty. Small restaurant with limited interior, but many tables outside. Note, however, that they have a limited menu during the Fairhope Art and Crafts Festival."

"I originally went to breakfast, but the only options available were kartoffeln and the juiceable, so I went to the magnolia beach and later came back to lunch. delicious buddha dish with peanut sauce. I had the green juice that was also very delicious. it was hard to see all the delicious desserts available and know that no vegan were I sent them a message they asked to consider this, maybe they would check if enough interest is expressed? a girl can dream."

"Trendy restaurant nicely decorated with good food. Had to wait 20 minutes on a Monday night due to its popularity. Only small gripe I had was that the food was not timed properly. One entree came out way earlier than the rest of them, but other than that it was reasonably priced for what you got."
