"Thanks to waze tamara’s was a recommended lunch break. so we stopped! fairhope is a nice city with a large selection of shops and restaurants. we moved to tamara at 1:30 and sat immediately. the host sat us and spoke with us briefly about the menu, recommending the wild salmon blt or the turkey avacado wrap. we had both and they were amazing! the waiter was wonderful and shared our packaging on two plates for us. we were in less than an hour and had a wonderful lunch. highly recommended!"

"Holy man, this place was amazing! I was down. when we get there first, I'm like meh, that'll be nice. what a pub restaurant, yes, it was great, but the food, the food was amazing! They also had a live traditional Irish band that was perfect because it wasn't the loud, obnoxic music where you can't even think. this will be a regular place for us!"

"Perfect end for a day on the river. A family friendly, seafood joint/bar and grill on the bank of Fish River (The family friendly part is a sign asking you not to cuss and a really neat natural sand box for the little ones. The setting is river casual... People come by car and boat. My last two times at Big Daddy 's, my wife and I were paddling our kayaks. The view is wonderful... The drinks are good... The food is basic fried seafood and seafood po boys. For excellent cheap meal, order the black and stormy (Kraken spiced rum and ginger ale and half a soft shell crab po boy and gumbo. The soft shells are fat and tasty. The gumbo is thin and tomato based but delicious and spicy. The French bread for the po boy would makes make New Orleans proud. When I order this, I eat the crab first...then I dip the French bread in the gumbo. A really good basic meal. Big Daddy 's is not a gourment restaurant. It is the perfect ending for a day on the river. Highly recommended."

"My FAVORITE place! I live in Atlanta, but whenever I come home, my parents know to meet me here. The blue crab corn fritters are to die for, as are the tacos, turnip fries and whatever the special is that day. Never loved the bowls, but with everything else so amazing, who cares?"

"Two specials the night we were there last week. One was steak and other was grouper with risotto. I thought I was going to settle for fish, but wanted the steak. Oh my gosh!!! The best fish dinner I've had in my 68 yrs, and the risotto with artichoke and shrimp delicious! No room for deserts but their pastries looked so good we had to take deserts with us. Midnight .....desert was amazing, too!"

"Great little wine bar and I have been going there for time without any incident. The last visit I was shocked to be attacked verbally by a wait staffl. The owner was there and I reported it to her but not sure anything was done. I know help is hard to get but it's sad when you keep people who are running off your customers."
