I don't eat at Rockne as often as I did, now that there are so many other possibilities in the area. HOWEVER.... What my wife and I noticed last night is the fact that UNLIKE all the other restaurants, Rockne 's prices seem to have stayed the same low affordable prices this whole time. What Love i doesn't like about Rockne's:
Tonight I ordered the sauerkraut balls and the beer batter fish with fries. The sauerkraut balls only came with 10 small balls and was around $8.00 . They were not that good and not worth the money. On Tap has better balls. The fish came with 4 pieces andlot?s off fries. The fish did not taste like beer batter at all . Fish is better at Arthur Treacher?s. Our first time was enjoyable with good food. We were surprised at the amount of food on the plates. We enjoyed everything and even had plenty to take home.
Excellent dinner last evening at Rockne's. Super service, fast and delicious. Didn't hurt the budget too bad either
Excellent ruben sandwiches and fried shrimp. Generous portions at reasonable prices!

I like this location best, the interior of the restaurant is clean and has a beautiful structure that I think is charming. I was immediately greeted by a happy smile face hostess called Izzy. I must say she is a very sweet young lady and works hard to go the extra mile so you feel comfortable and welcome. Her sincerity shows and I love seeing passion at work. I love the uniforms that the lady wears and think they give the venue a unique taste. My Addison server was knowledgeable and helpful in ordering as well as friendly and attentive. I must say I always loved Rockney's potato soup and I wish they would bring it back, it's the next o my mother I ever had, which means the best!!! I had the salmon food with broccoli and rice pilaf and it was amazing to love the sauce they use. It'll be back soon. Thank you.
