We took our family to the public pool at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort for a day in July. I had read a number of bad reviews so I was a bit concerned when we went. To say I was pleasently surprised is an understatement. We were able to bring our own food, chairs etc into the area and find a nice grass spot under some trees. I came in for a frozen frappé on a hot day. My raspberry with lime flavor was slightly artificial, but it was definitely refreshing. It cost around $5.
I have visited this cafe a few times and I think the sandwich and salad deal is quite good. The food is decent too.
