"The food was delicious, had the vegetable burger with gluten-free bungalow. It was big enough that it had problems eating it, but it was worth it in the end. Easy at the price end, $40 for two with a beer. Not an everyday place, but great for occasional meals. The staff was friendly and accommodating."

"I want to like this place. I really do. The burgers are good. Some of the sides are good. But it's a BBQ restaurant and their BBQ just isn't very good. But it's the only BBQ place near me so I keep trying. For awhile I figured out that the brisket sandwich was pretty good, so that's what I would always order. But lately, every time I go in, the brisket is dry and tough and I just can't do it any more. I easily smoke better BBQ in my backyard, but sometimes you just want to go sit somewhere and enjoy the atmosphere and a nice meal. I have sadly given up on When Pigs Fly."

"Not good. Ordered a Mai Tai from the bar and it wasn’t good at all. The big wave burger was burnt and dry. Fries were salty. Not a a good experience. I’ve been to other locations and never had any problems. Maybe just an off night but don’t think I’ll be back to this spot."

"Some of the best food I have had in a really long time. The servers were very friendly and attentive. 10/10 would recommend for some of the best noodles and dumplings in Oceanside CA. The Dan Dan noodles were delicious and the homemade kimchi was impressive. If you want good handmade noodles and food this is the place to go."
