"The Elk is a well positioned lodge on the mountain , close to the action, but just far enough away not to hear it. We found staff to be extremely engaging, and helpful. The food and the wine list in the restaurant was great, we actually gave a standing ovation to the chef. The Beef Cheeks are a 'must try ', To top it all off the newly refirbed guest quarters makes it one of the swankiest lodges at Falls Creek. Highly recommend 'Elk at Falls '."

"Ok, so the menu makes an effort to clearly highlight the vegan or vegan optional elements and the staff seems knowledgeable and the kitchen is able to make some adjustments to change something from vegetarian to vegan. The food is delicious: we had the pizza with vegan cheese and vegetable toppings as well as buffalo flowers, fries and a plate of green. The summer menu is more limited than the winter. Start were super nice and if the weather is good snoring a table outside on the back for some nice views."

"Came down to settlers with my family and it was beautiful. Great food had by all that came, even pleasing the vegetarian! Solid venue with great pictures and decor around and amazing friendly staff. A must stop for anyone in the area."

"The pub has an outstanding, fun vibe and is definitely worth stopping in on your way up the mountain, it's not perfect, but as long as you don't go in with sky high expectations like the ones I had there is a lot of good to be discovered here."
