"This restaurant came recommended by the owners of the air bnb where we were staying. We went on a Saturday night, so a wait was expected. We were told 30 minutes for 2 people. It ended up being 45, but they have a nice outdoor waiting area, with plenty of seats, so it wasn't a terrible wait. Our waitress was pleasant. NY husband had a full rack of ribs and I had a sirloin. The food was very good, and the portions and price were great."

"Ive been coming to Dairy Center since I was a child. My grandparents used to always bring me up there every single time I visited them in Mt. Airy. My go to has always been a hot dog all the way with the spicy fries. I would like to say that I know that the pandemic has thrown a wrench in every restaurant. The fries were as good as they have always been but my order was messed up and I wad brought out the most pitiful hot dog I've ever seen. I was brought another and it was just terrible. I had touted this place and bragged about the best hot dogs in NC my whole life but it seems they have gone a bit downhill. Used to be such a gem of Mt. Airy."

"We passed by here to wait out a thunderstorm. Service was amazing but man the bbq recipe has to be checked on cause that was one of the most dry, tough and flavorless pulled pork and brisket I've ever eaten. But we loved the hush puppies the best, funny how the best thing came from a plastic package though haha. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Hush Puppies"
