"We had just checked into our hotel after a long drive, so wanted a tasty meal nearby. The reviews of Hanuman were perfect, but we managed to walk straight past! It is set back from the road next to the entertainment centre. It was busy, but we had great advice and quick service. The wine list was sensible and our Chardonnay good with a reasonable price. Our tasting plate of starters was delicious and pretty to look at, with generous portions. We couldn't choose main dishes because everything sounded so nice. "Although there were hardly any vegan options on the menu, they were dependent on my request for a vegan pasta (which was basically an existing dish minus the shells, replaced by black olive garlic. It was a bit bland, but better after adding chili oil s p. Orange fried salad was tasty, also ordered the pizza that was described in the previous review, it was nicely fresh wood fired, but basically the same sauce as the pasta, only on a pizza. I give them 4 stars for effort, service and food presentation."

"I am from Melbourne and came to Darwin for a quick getaway. I have to say the food was delicious and much better than majority of vietnamese restaurants in Melbourne. Friendly staff and quick service. Definately heading back there if I am in Darwin again."
