This is one of my favorite local restaurants. We have known one of the owners for years. We go here for fish-n-chips. The other food is great as well, but I'm the kind of guy that goes to specific places for specific things. I rarely change my order. Although, I used to get the ɓeet salad with salmon. We’ve been getting fish and chips from Sheelen’s for over two years the fried fish is really miss more than hit lately 50 75% of the time, the batter is so incredibly thick that the outside may be golden brown and crispy but right underneath is a layer of undercooked pancake wetness. They cut the menu in half and got rid of their best dishes. I suppose it was a business move but I’m not feeling it. There’s nothing there for me anymore.
