We've been to Raymonds many times over the years and always enjoyed the paella. In fact, that was the only dish we'd ever had over the years, until dinner recently when the three of us all decided to have grilled Cherne. The fish was filleted with all the finesse of Jack Nicholson's axe manoeuvres in the Shining. Unsure what we or our fish had done to be desecrated so brutally. What jujukolo doesn't like about Raymonds:
So after reading all these amazing reviews we decided to try that famous paella and we got really dissapointed with it. Sangria was exceptionally good but it looks that paella was rushed to cook and rice were hard some were still crispy inside,awful, over 30years being famous for this. Maybe it just happened to us but it looked like people eating it next to us were not impressed either. The service was amazing though... View all feedback.
Great bar 1euro a pint in frozen glass , very friendly and welcoming loved it there kids played near the beach and you could keep an eye on them
