Simply wonderful. My girlfriend and I were in vacation in Faux-La-Mongagne from New York and we’re lucky enough to stumble upon this gem of a restaurant. "Stopped by for a croque monsieur and a cheese tapas. Received a charcuterie tapas much to the annoyance of the mature waitress when I asked it for it to be replaced. It duly arrived followed by a petulant slap of the bread bucket on the table. Asked another waitress for the bill which never materialised then went to the desk to pay for the 17 euro bill. Handed over 20 euro, received no change or any thank you for the unintentional tip! I even held the brassiere door open for the waitress as she left the same time as me, again not a thank you or acknowledgement. How rude madame!!"

"The casual tourist is unlikely to stumble across le Potron, as it is small and hidden away from the main street. The locals know and love it, however. The evening I found it I was lucky to get there early, within half an hour all the other 22 places were occupied. Crepes, galettes and salads are the staples, but they have a good (if short) selection of main dishes and a good wine list too. The chocolate fondant desert was superb.I will be back for more, if I can get a table!"
