Ella's Table - Fayetteville

I was somewhat disappointed with my experience on Mother's Day. A 20% gratuity was automatically included in our bill for the 5 person meal, but the server who brought us the check did not inform us about this. As a result, we ended up tipping an additional 20%. While I am glad that our server (who was not the one who brought the check) benefited from this, I was disappointed by the lack of transparency.

We were the last reservation on the evening of graduation. We were at our table a little over an hour was all in total. The waitress asked several times for our order. We wanted to enjoy a cocktail and an appetizer while perusing the menu. The food was mediocre at best, someone was spraying down the table next to us with cleaning spray while we were eating. This was our daughter’s graduation dinner and it wasn’t pleasant. They cleared our table after dinner including of water, the candle, everything! Clearly they didn’t want us, they should not have had the time slot available for us. The waitstaff was nice, the restaurant itself is very nice but dont be the last reservation.

I ordered a pasta dish. The sauce was like paste! It was supposed to have some veggies in it.... I found none. It was absolutely the worst meal that I've ever eaten at a restaurant. Our waitress had an attitude I'm assuming because we didn't want anything other than the entre. She even sent someone else to bring us the desert menu. I love the location. I hope they change and are successful. But they have a lot of room for improvement.

Our server was the sweetest person. She was very attentive and efficient and so patient with us and all of our requests. She and her manager graciously allowed me to take a plate home for my mother who was home sick. My boyfriend and I are so thankful for the experience and the kindness of Ella’s. We will be back!
