"Upon reading reviews of this place on trip advisor. I thought it would be nice to pop in for some lunch. The food was very affordable and very high quality. We paid just under €20 each for 3 courses. The choices were limited. You had two starters, three mains and two deserts to choose from. Keeping selection small I guess made them extremely good at the dishes they did offer. If you go you won't be disappointed."

"Voilà! At last, a straightforward traditional, restaurant with simple, well-cooked ingredients. No clever-clever, badly cooked fancy food, just decent, good-tasting meals, particularly locally caught fish. French restaurants have taken an overall dive in quality and a hike in prices during the last couple of decades but here’s one that has resisted the current fashion for smears, froth, and traffic-lights as plate garnishing. A very few can do this well but most cannot. I began with a perfect, meaty terrine, followed by roast salmon. My husband had a good fish soup, followed by cod, perfectly cooked and simply garnished with potatoes and vegetables. We finished the meal with a sorbet. Other diners were enjoying the fresh fish and we saw some very tempting plates come by.The atmosphere was relaxed, the view across the harbour towards the church and the houses on the opposite slope picturesque, and we were well-looked after. However, there was only one person serving so unless there are sufficient staff, service could be a problem in the high season."

"Booked a table for a Sunday evening meal. Service professional and friendly, and friendly for our dog as well. We opted for the €38 menu, so expected something pretty special, but left somewhat underwhelmed. The seafood platter we chose for our entrees included just one...langoustine, whereas the description stated langoustines, hence an expectation of more than one! Instead there were bigorneaux (winkles) which were not mentioned, neither were they wanted. So little mayonnaise was provided that we had to ask for the tiny container to be renewed twice. Most disappointing of all however was the turbot in the main course was absolutely tasteless. Yes, the accompanying sauce was very nice ... but why did we pay for expensive fish which tasted of nothing?! Service was very good and a pleasant ambience; perhaps we were simply unlucky with our menu choice and selections."
