Monday night, and I have spent the evening catching up with a friend enjoying a home cooked tasty fish pie filled with salmon, smoked haddock, prawns in a creamy sauce. Crown and Mitre is a friendly village pub that is run by a local husband and wife team who were very welcoming and I look forward to my next visit. View all feedback.

The food was good and our party of nine enjoyed it. All the food came up together and was hot. The food did take a long time to come, but the chef was alone and the waiting was forgotten when we started eating. Unfortunately I have marked the visit down as a number of the drinks and all the starters were not available. The steak and ale pie was very tasty. View all feedback.
