Very few dishes show any South American influence and they don't serve alcohol, so the name seems out of place. However, the empanadas had been recommended to me so I kept visiting and on the 3rd visit they finally had some available, and they were good fried bread style and packed really thick with richly flavoured filling. $5 isn't cheap but is less than most charge for this level of empanada.
